I have a Masters in Public Health as well as an AA in Psychology & BS in Psychology/Business Management. Additionally, I am a Public Health doctoral learner, with an emphasis in general public health and leadership. My completion date, for my DrPH, is September of 2019.

My work experience consists of 15 years as a Pharmacy Technician, 6 years in the field of education: 3 years as an instructional aide: LAUSD Adult Schools, 2 years as a substitute teacher: K-12, including special education for 2 public schools, & 1 year as a vocational college instructor. During the past 10 years, I worked as a health educator and owned my own business working as a seamstress. Currently, I work on all election events, as a poll worker, for the county of Los Angeles.

My objective is to secure employment in the social services or non-profit arena, allowing me to utilize my pharmacy, medical, and academic skills. Community outreach or vector control would be a plus. I am willing to relocate.

Accomplishments:

Spring 2015: Created and distributed nutrition guidelines for homeless food donations, given to local food pantry and churches to reduce chronic disease by changing dietary habits

Fall 2016: Created emergency / disaster plan to empower local homeless population
