What To Do If You Find A Syringe

 



The safest course of action is to call the authorities and report it. For example, you might alert park police, lifeguards, security personnel, a store manager, etc. depending on where the needle is located. You can also call your local health department or law enforcement agency to report it.

I found a syringe with needle on the bus. I used a napkin to pick it up in the middle and dropped it inside a coffee cup with lid. Then I handed it over to my doc's office so they could put it in a Sharps container.

This wss the third syringe with needle I have found in Burbank since 2014;  2 on the street and this latest one on the 92 bus.
