I saw someone I know spread out on the street; prolly high on drugs and / or alcohol. Where are the ambassadors? That's how you know their main job is just to keep homeless away from the downtown area for trade and commerce; has nothing to do with "altruism". Some of the reasons for homelessness: Rent increase Job layoff Chronic illness Domestic violence Relationship ending College related [loss of work study, roommate, financial aid, scholarship] Alcohol Drugs LGBTQ+  [can't find work, parents kick you out of house] Mental illness Age out of the foster system Cost of living Racism [Blacks and Hispanics overrepresented statistically] Multiple incarcerations Lose voucher or funding with group housing By choice [saving for a big purchase, tryna get out of debt] Looking at this list, be aware that these categories can overlap, thus exacerbating the situation.  Back to my example: Homeless Multiple incarcerations, frequency increasing Estranged from family History of ment...
